Hair & Scalp FAQ

What are a few general tips to help with scalp conditions?

a) Avoid wearing the same hat or ball cap every day. This could be re infecting your scalp. If you wear caps often, be sure you change them out and that they are clean. b) Avoid putting product on your scalp from open jars. Microbes like to grow in jars that open. c) Keep your nails trim and brushed with the shampoo in shower. We carry a lot bacteria under our nail beds.

What's the difference between Shampoo and CLn 2-in-1 Gentle Wash and Shampoo?

Both the CLn® Shampoo and CLn 2-in-1 Gentle Wash and Shampoo contain glycerin to help maintain hair’s natural moisture balance and can be used for scalp dermatitis or dandruff. CLn® Shampoo has the added salicylic acid to help eliminate excess oil and exfoliate dead skin cells. This is most appropriate for people with oily hair and scalp or who may suffer from scalp folliculitis. CLn 2-in-1 Gentle Wash and Shampoo does not contain the salicylic acid and therefore is better suited for those with naturally dry hair/scalp, or for those with scalp eczema.

Is CLn Shampoo safe for children?

We recommend that children use the CLn 2-in-1 Gentle Wash and Shampoo. The CLn® Shampoo is designed for scalps/hair that is more normal to oily which is usually in adults.

Is Cln Shampoo safe for color-treated hair?

Our shampoos have not been tested on color-treated hair.
