CLn BodyWash is a new approach to challenging skin

For years, physicians have known that medicated baths can effectively cleanse compromised skin and decrease the spread of infection. However, skin sufferers find these baths unpleasant and impractical. CLn partnered with leading dermatologists to create a sodium hypochlorite wash. It harnesses the most important ingredient of medicated baths in the form of a clinically proven, effective daily cleanser that won’t ruin clothes and is gentle on the skin.

Simply lathered on wet skin for 1-2 minutes and rinsed off thoroughly in the shower or bath, CLn BodyWash can replace a daily shower gel/soap, making it easy to fit into an existing routine. It’s gentle, non-drying formula can be used daily on problem skin without causing irritation, and though individual results will vary, many users with eczema report seeing a reduction in the appearance of skin redness, dryness and flakiness in as few as 3 uses.

  • ✔ Wet Skin
  • ✔ Apply a small amount of CLn BodyWash to hands
  • ✔ Massage and lather onto skin for 1-2 minutes
  • ✔ Rinse thoroughly in shower or bath
  • ✔ Apply moisturizer or creams as needed
  • ✔ Gentle enough for daily use, or as directed

Is sodium hypochlorite the same as household bleach, and isn't bleach harmful to skin?

Sodium hypochlorite is one of the many components of household bleach. Household bleach even when diluted, as in a bleach bath, has many other chemicals which can be harmful and drying to the skin. At CLn® Skin Care, we took the best part of bleach, sodium hypochlorite at low levels to formulate and preserve our patented cleansers. Undiluted household bleach can be harmful to the skin or internal organs.

What’s the difference between Shampoo and Gentle Shampoo?

Both the CLn® Shampoo and CLn® Gentle Shampoo contain glycerin to help maintain the hairs’ natural moisture balance and can be used for scalp dermatitis or dandruff. The regular Shampoo has the added salicylic acid to help eliminate excess oil and exfoliate dead skin cells. This is most appropriate for people with oily hair and scalp or who may suffer from scalp folliculitis. CLn® Gentle Shampoo does not contain the salicylic acid and therefore is better suited for those with naturally dry hair/scalp, or for those with scalp eczema.

    How is Acne Cleanser unique?

The CLn® Acne Cleanser is the only product on the market that combines 0.5% salicylic acid acne treatment and a known gentle wash, preserved with sodium hypochlorite. This formulation is mild, but effective at treating acne blemishes and preventing future breakouts.

    What is eczema?

Eczema is a skin condition caused by inflammation of the skin. Typically, eczema causes skin to become itchy, red, and dry — even cracked and leathery. Eczema can appear on any part of the body. Eczema is a chronic problem for many people. It is most common in infants, many of whom outgrow it before adulthood. Atopic dermatitis is the most common of the many types of eczema.

    What causes eczema?

Eczema runs in families. Certain genes can make some people have extra-sensitive skin. An overactive immune system is thought to be a factor as well. Also, it’s thought that defects in the skin’s protective barrier contribute to eczema, by allowing moisture out through the skin and letting germs in. Factors that may trigger eczema include: stress, contact with irritating substances, heat and sweat, cold, dry climates and dry skin.

    What exactly is folliculitis?

Folliculitis is an infection and inflammation in the hair follicles – the tiny openings in the skin that enclose hair. You can have folliculitis on any part of your body that has hair. Even the nearly invisible hair on your face or back. It is most common on the face and scalp and areas rubbed by clothing, such as the thighs and groin. Folliculitis is also referred to as ingrown hairs and razor burn or bumps.

    What causes folliculitis?

Shaving or wearing clothes that rub the skin can irritate hair follicles, which can lead to folliculitis. Follicles also can become blocked or irritated by sweat, oils, or makeup. When bacteria, yeast, or fungus is present with injured follicles, they are more likely to become infected, resulting in folliculitis.
